Why do you work in the eastern DRC?
In eastern DRC, communities have endured violence, disease, internal displacement, and difficult economic conditions. Local churches remain a trusted institution in community life and have a vital role to play in restoration.
Why do you work with churches?
About 95% of people in the DRC identify as Christians. Church leaders are already deeply connected to congregations and neighborhoods, making them natural partners in the work of reconciliation.
Why focus on faith restoration, peacebuilding, and trauma care?
These areas respond to connected realities: overwhelmed leaders, unresolved community conflicts, and trauma carried by survivors, families, and congregations.
